Econotherm and LJUNGSTRÖM partner on carbon capture opportunities

Collaboration to produce enhanced waste heat recovery solutions

 

BRIDGEND, Wales, January 30, 2025 – Econotherm (UK) Ltd., a global leader in industrial heat recovery, today announced it is partnering with LJUNGSTRÖM to deliver a suite of enhanced flue gas heat recovery solutions in carbon capture applications across industries such as cement, steel, power and waste to energy.

 

Through this collaboration, LJUNGSTRÖM will integrate Econotherm’s patented super conductor heat pipe technology within its lineup of RGC® flue gas cooling solutions and SBS Injection™ acid gas removal technologies that are tailored for carbon capture developers, engineers and end-users.
