BRIDGEND, Wales, May 2019 – Econotherm has been awarded a $2.5-million order for an 18.5-MW heat pipe air pre-heater by a leading global oil and gas EPC.

The unit is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2020 into one of the largest U.S. oil refineries as part of a major expansion and upgrade programme.

The order was awarded at the end of an extensive procurement process in the face of intense competition from leading Asian suppliers.
