BRIDGEND, Wales, September 2019 – Econotherm is excited to confirm a £365K order for its novel CZ furnace cooling jackets from Norsun AS.

The CZ cooling jackets were developed through a collaborative R&D exercise and resulted in an advanced multi-tubular heat pipe device capable of significantly increasing pull speed in the CZ silicon production process.

Econotherm is proceeding to further develop the product to target 30% pull rate improvement.

The CZ cooling jacket has built in inherent safety features making it the only device of it s type to meet Western safety standards.
